A procedural bridge generation tool I have developed in my own time. Using old assets from previous projects and misc Unity shapes to populate the bridge.
My drawing a spline of any shape the tool allows users to quickly create optimised bridges with pillars and stringers to support the bridge and add more detail.
The 2 images are quick illustrations of how a simple bridge could look, the spline also allows characters and other Unity objects to follow the curve of the bridge to be animated over it.
The video demonstrates how each variable in the tool plays it's part to procedurally generate the bridge, add randomness but also control for the user.
